Instead, it may be a passage rich with wildlife, a secluded sandy beach or a quiet cove where guests explore their surroundings on the shore or in the water.
The Safari Explorer boasts an overall active spa environment that serves as a host platform for avid golfers and spouses. It's the perfect 19th hole! If one partner golfs and the other doesn't, a full menu of activities awaits the non-golfer: kayaking, snorkeling, hiking, mountain biking, sailing; yoga classes, hot tub, sauna and exercise equipment on the top deck; complimentary massage, relaxing in a lounge chair or reading in the Wine Library; or embarking on an organized, included tour.
On our eight-day, seven-night Hawaii cruises, the Safari Explorer sails one-way between Kailua-Kona on the Big Island and Kahului on Maui. Along the way, guests learn the legend and lore of the islands from resident historians and experts. On Lanai, the Private Island, tee off from lava cliffs hundreds of feet above the crashing surf on Jack Nicklaus's spectacular The Challenge at Manele.
