SEATTLE, WA – Travel agent Earl Davis of Casto Travel in San Francisco has won a free eight-day, seven-night inter-island Hawaii cruise for two on American Safari Cruises’ new 145-foot, 36-guest flagship yacht during its inaugural season in the islands next winter.
Agents who booked clients for the new yacht’s first season in Alaska before May 15, 2008 were eligible for the drawing, held during last month’s christening ceremonies. Kathleen Cook-Hunter, a Texas-based sales representative for American Safari Cruises, drew the winning name.
Davis booked his Alaska clients into a top-deck balcony suite that features a living room with a large, flat-screen TV, master bedroom with king bed and Tempur-pedic mattress, refrigerator stocked with the guests’ favorite beverages, and bathroom with heated tile floors and Jacuzzi tub.
A second drawing for a Hawaii cruise will be held for all guests who travel on the Safari Explorer during the 2008 inaugural season in Alaska; the winner will be selected at the end of the season in September. The value of a stateroom for two on the Safari Explorer in Hawaii begins at $3,995 per person, double occupancy.
The Safari Explorer completed a nine-month, $3.5 million renovation just prior to its first sailing to Alaska. The yacht will move to Hawaii in November for inter-island cruising December 18, 2008 to May 9, 2009 between the Big Island and Maui, then return to Alaska for the summer season.
